Anytime you're Monkwick way Any evening, Wednesday, You'll find us all doin' the Monkwick walk.
This Wednesday night we hit the paths and alleyways of Monkwick to pick some litter and meet Lee, whose cycling projects are gaining a lot of popularity in Colchester. What's more is that he was on a wonderful Raleigh cargo bike! Awesome.
We made our way from Berechurch Road to TLA school and back with a decent haul of litter removed from the paths.
Em knew the route well from her school days and even found her name engraved into the school building - what a legacy! I wonder what advice you'd give your 15 year old self!?
Anyway....with the environment a little cleaner I hope walkers and cyclists enjoy their journeys a little bit more...
Litter blights our streets, parks and beaches and costs us millions of pounds to clear up every year. Keep Britain Tidy is here to inspire people to eliminate litter now and for future generations. This is about more than simply getting people to pick up litter. We aim to change behaviour permanently by spotlighting the problem daily and offering creative solutions. We work with people, businesses, local authorities and government to educate, innovate and inspire - improving the environment on everyone’s doorstep.
