The luncheon club at the Salvation Army close to my home is where I usually volunteer in the kitchen , but due to lockdown we’re unable to have the lovely clients in our hall. We are, however, close to be able to provide frozen meals rather than food box’s. The kitchen has been re decorated and today 4 of us were tasked with clearing out all the equipment and deciding what to keep, what to pass to The Salvation Army Charity Shop , rest in the rubbish bin. Then a thorough deep clean. A new Oven, stainless steel worktops, will be installed soon. A bleach clean will be needed next time, fingers crossed we will be operating soon.
