Today the volunteer group were tasked with dead-heading the Rose bushes which have been filling the park with a beautiful scent since spring, especially when the sun is shining. Although coming to a seasonal end, there were still a few intact blooms and the dead-heading will ensure an abundance of new blooms next year. It was cloudy and sunny today, but the rain stayed away. After filling quite a few buckets and bags, it was off to the Hub for a cuppa and some biscuits.
