This was my very first visit to Mrs. M. Her nephew was helping in the house and made us a cup of tea and she served me some biscuits.

As we talked of many things, I picked on a word she uses often - "Inshallah" - and told her my Dad used to do the same. It means "God willing". We talked about more similarities in our cultures including not calling elders by name and agreed I could call her Aunty M!

Her attitude of acceptance towards life including her blindness and husband's sudden death is inspirational. Aunty M is lovely and I look forward to visiting her again soon.
