Today as I was making my way to the Urban Green task at Harbottle Park in Byker I took the opportunity to have a C25K training run. Looking almost as pink as my top at the end of my run/walk!

On arriving at the park early I did a litter pick. However, as I approached what looked like a hula hoop massacre a passerby thanked me for tidying up and I replied to say I was happy to do it but wasn’t sure what I was cleaning up. He replied to say that it was the leftovers of stripped copper cables that had been nicked for selling!

So my clean up operation ended up being a crime scene clean up - hopefully I haven’t trampled any evidence!

Lawyer by day, crime scene clean up at weekends!
