Community gardening and 200th good deed!

A quick visit to the station to top up the watering of flowers was a lovely one with a nice surprise!

When I approached I saw that the planters were somewhat watered and I wasn't sure if it's from yesterday - unlikely considering how sunny it was yesterday evening!

Turns out we have a watering fairy who's been helping to keep the flowers fresh - Bianca, one of the lovely cleaning staff, has been looking after the planters and some station stuff also started to water the inside planters when they saw me (though I don't think anything can help them now...).

Bianca was very lovely and helped to remove the litter and water the planters with me so the whole task took no time and we have a new watering buddy!

A number of locals passed by and were very complimentary about the planters and how it made them smile. A bit of colour and greenery in Hainault is appreciated it turns out!

Back on Sunday and fingers crossed Bianca or some locals will add water to the planters in the sun tomorrow!
