Cold and busy 🥶 🛒

It was perhaps the coldest and the busiest day I've had at the FoodShare Shop so far. The large shop is generally cold anyway but it was off the charts this Friday! As luck would have it, I got tasked with putting away the cold items (cheese, yogurts, bacon etc) in the fridges! I hadn't worked at the Till so I shadowed the lady who patiently ran me through every processes before, during and after the sale.  It was the busiest day with customers having to wait upto 15 mins to get their turn (entry had to be restricted to avoid overcrowding the two aisles)

Busy and cold but not without the now-familiar faces and chatter. It's a lovely place to volunteer and I may have even recruited someone for GoodGym missions! Time will tell 🤞
