Saturday saw three Solihull GoodGym-ers meet up for the first time in a while to go for a run together and do good.

We met in Brueton park for 9am - fit and raring to go, ready for a 5k run and chat. It was nice to be able to catch up as we have not all been together for a run in months.

After the run it was time to head onto today’s task, helping the residents of Trinity close sweep more leaves off the pathways and out of the rose garden. Fiona set to work trying to pick the leaves up with some leaf grabbers, while Rob started to rake them up into piles. Once we had filled the two wheelie bins, we chatted to John about Christmas plans and lockdown 2!

We then put the bins back ready for the council to collect and returned all the equipment. John asked if we wouldn’t mind going back next week as he would like to start cutting back some trees ready to put some communal sheds up!
