Don't fall in

Solihull Report written by Rob

This week, Fiona, Rob and Chris were back out hitting the roads and canal paths of Solihull. We decided to redo one of our new routes along the canal.  Never not wanting to challenge ourselves, we made sure to do some sprint work in between bridges to get some of the fitness we have lost due to injuries.

Once off the canal, it was time to head back to base, with a long slow hill and a final push sprint on a strava segment.

We will be back next week, hope to see you there!

Welcome back Chris

Solihull Report written by Rob

This week, we welcomed Chris back from his foot injury that put him out of action for the last 4 weeks.

Not one to take it easy, Chris led the way on tonight's run along one of our favourite summer routes which has a mix of trail running, road running, and hills. Parts of the route maybe aren't quite ready to be run on unless you are happy to get muddy. As it was a lovely evening, this did not put us off, we were just happy to be back out and all running again injury free.

After a good 5k was completed, we thought it would be time to head back to base for a stretch and a refreshing drink to rehydrate after all sweating quite a bit.

We will be back next week for another run, hope to see you there.
