It's been a while since I visited Ms N. In absence of my regular weekend service, she began to think that I had gone back home overseas! Tonight's shop was a late one and Ms N was worried that the Indian shop would be closed and I wouldn't get her favourite Desi paneer.

To minimise the risk I reversed my usual route and went to the Indian shop first. After my initial successful purchase (the paneer), I proceeded to Co-Op and found myself a bit rusty, shopping for Ms N in this order. In Co-Op, I had to make a call to enquire about the details of the laundry detergent. Ms N wanted a product of a specific brand dedicated to colours and with a handle. Neither of the options available to me met both criteria. I found out that the handle takes priority, and I bought a bottle of the "original" detergent.

All the remaining items from the list were easily obtainable in Sainsbury's Local by the petrol station. I set off to Ms N's street, which, at that hour, was patrolled by three foxes and two cats. I got away with Ms N's groceries intact and delivered the bags to her doorstep. She was very grateful for the help and asked me to send her love to Alex whose greetings I had passed to Ms N earlier!
