Two GoodGym runners went to the Social Supermarket this week to support them in providing food for vulnerable people in Coventry.
Our task this week was to make a start on sorting donations by date, to ensure that items with a shorter date are distributed first. We sorted biscuits, crisps, cereals and long life milk. We then moved on to tackle the mountain of baked bean tins and sort them by date, a very satisfying job. Fun fact: most of the Heinz tins have a best before of some time in 2021.
