After delivering the treats to Ms M, I gave her a call when I’d cycled home to have a catch-up. She was a little confused when I explained that I’d left some treats for her on her doorstep (which door? My door? The main door!? Or through the letterbox? Where? So many questions!), but was really appreciative once the story was complete (even though there was the moment of welsh cake disappointment). We caught up on how each of our week’s had been and vented about how people are ignoring the guidance and having picnics in parks 🙄

I’ll give her a call again next week and hopefully we’ll have some welsh cake progress!
