This morning I felt like having some cake, so I decided to buy one on my way to Mrs. M's. She was delighted at the unexpected treat and confirmed what I too believe, "cake is better when shared with people" #itstrue 🍰 ☕

She made coffee and I served us a slice each. Then we sat and chatted for the next hour. Mrs. M showed me old photos of her wedding, her parents, her sister and I was happy to give her company as she reminisced.

She's nearly finished colouring her book so I know what to get her for Christmas! 🎄
