Mission

By George! It's the missing link

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

This isn't just one deed, oh no it's two! On my cycle from work to the deed, there was a forlorn schoolboy pushing his bike with its broken chain. He was a Year 10 lad and getting into doing his own bike mechanics, but he'd failed on putting the chain links back together again. Bit of a schoolboy error really. Didn't get his name but I think it was Miles. He'll sure go far now anyway.

With oily hands and not wanting to check my map, I proceeded to the wrong health centre I had committed to memory, though it turns out it was the one in St George, not the one right By (St) George!

Mr A turned out to be a metal fan and a thoroughly top man. So all in all, it was a successful mission and an enjoyable chat.

Now back to the pun. My humour has always been primitive at best and with a bike chain repair thrown into the mix, perhaps I really am The Missing Link.
