I had the perfect partner for today's mission task!

Our job was to pack up Mrs G's kitchen belongings into boxes to help her prepare for a move into new accommodation during the week.

Luckily Jennie has a great deal of experience of this having moved home several times over the past few years and even enjoys the whole packing experience.

It was therefore no surprise that she moved rapidly through the cupboards, getting everything packed into cardboard boxes, while I faffed around with bubble wrap and paper to wrap the more delicate items and double check with Mrs G what she wanted to keep to use over the next few days.

Particularly impressive was Jennie's dynamic taping up of the boxes once they were full, allowing me to carry them into the lounge area ready to be transported over to Mrs G's new home.

We were all done in around 90 minutes much to the delight of Mrs G who whilst looking forward to her new home, was understandably apprehensive about being ready to move, so to take away a little bit of the ordeal for her was very rewarding.

Nice one!
