As the clocks go back and the days start to get colder thoughts turn to those jobs that need doing for winter. On a cooler than normal morning our three boarders met up for a whistle-stop tour of Redland with a ‘few’ hills before heading to the mission. A swift two miles later we arrived at our destination.

The mission today for Mr J was to board up the top of an outside toilet door to protect the contents during the winter. Spoilt for choice with the tools on offer we had fun trying them all out to get the best one. In the end our favourite was probably the hand drill though as it was just so fun to use and surprisingly effective! Along the way we discovered fiendish problems that needed great ingenuity to solve and discovered that gorillas are better than ducks for holding things together.

In just shy of two hours we were done. The door was looking much sturdier and we all pointed to the bits we had done for a photo opportunity. Mr J was a wonderful host and was please with the result. We said our farewells and we left to go our separate ways safe In the knowledge that we had done good today. Well done guys :)
