On a slightly drizzly Sunday afternoon Dave and I met up to do some work in the garden for Ms A. It was probably a bit wet out to mow but that didn’t dampen our spirits. The paving outside had become overgrown with pesky weeds and so the task today was to clear them.

With a choice of tools and the promise of latte and biscuits we set to work. There was a lot of scraping between paving and pulling of weeds and some expert bin stomping from Dave while I bagged some weeds. It also turns out that you can come up with a lot of puns with latte in them (fingers crossed for another mission with lattes so we can use Dave’s amazing pun... I won’t spoil it for you).

Taking the occasional latte and digestive break we managed to clear a large section of the paving but we both agreed there was a lot more to do.

After Dave explained the meaning of pampas grass we set off our separate ways. Proper job!

Well done both. I just googled the pampas grass bit myself - eye opening!
Great effort!
