Community mission

Bags for a second life

1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Portsmouth.

This task ticked so many boxes for me:

  • the joy of using left-over fabric from nursery curtains, dressing-up costumes, even a well-loved duvet cover;

  • using the sewing machine inherited from my grandmother;

  • peaceful mindfulness with fabric and thread;

  • and the production of Borrow Bags, provided by Final Straw to local independent shops for them to offer to their customers instead of plastic bags

Joy all round!
