Arc Centre Clean Team

5 Goodgymmers from all across the city avoided the summer showers to join us for our weekly deep clean at the Arc Community Centre, Islington. Repeat attendees Trainer Simon and John met with David, Katrin and Mel, and showed them the ropes!

The Arc Centre is a community centre that opened up its own food bank and delivery service during the Covid lockdown, following the closure of the Trussell Trust. Goodgym have committed to a weekly clean and overall sanitising routine to make sure the volunteers and the food bank users remain safe during this time.

We started by clearing all donations from the main hall and kitchen areas, and gave the whole space a really good sweep and tidy. Trainer Simon mixed up a bucket of floor cleaner, while Mel and David sanitised all the surfaces in the kitchen. John and Kat mopped up every available area and we stepped back to admire a super clean centre!
