GG Southwark welcomed November with enormous effort. From graffiti clean-ups, to bulb planting, heavy lifting and leaf shifting. It was all hands on deck, for a Good(Gym) nights work!

FULL HOUSE It was a packed out Old Spike this eve, with plenty of hustle, ready to throw down muscle for the objective at hand - A multi-task extravaganza for the Bee Urban community estates team. A fab organisation for the estates of Camberwell.

The fast and the furious Speeding the 2.2mile route, along with the fabulous flock of familiars, was new to the gang Nicola. First time with the pack, but holding her own like a boss, she ran in formation with the troops. With trusty old pigeon leading pace, we weaved through the streets of Camberwell, for a swift shift, wiggle workout, only suitable for warriors.

Are we nearly there yet? Arrival at the postcode was simple enough, however the mission to actually find the meeting spot was a tad more tricky!! Luckily, our host Barnaby was never too far from his phone and coaxed me through the last rabbit warren weave to the garages. Phew!!

Delighted we'd made it (finally) the gang got stuck straight into the vast array of tasking there was on offer. Starting with the removal of some unsightly graffiti from the window, followed by stacking bike racks, sorting tools and planting bulbs in the troffs outside.

World wide web The bulb planting proved to be the most dangerous job of the lot, with some long legged lingerers, webbing their wears all through the air, determined to coat faces in their silky designs. Didn't they get the memo? Halloween was yesterday! Be gone with you!!

Leaf it out Hanna After 20mins it was nearly time to shout for the last 10, but then......Hanna and team began the epic task of scooping and carting mountains of leaves from path to compost in record time!! Leafing us just enough time to say a farewell to Barnaby and see you very soon!!

Homeward bound After the final ticker ticked, we turned on our heels and flew back into the night, ready to race those last miles, back home in style. No time for burppee challenges this week, as the mileage was enough to get our hearts pounding and blood flowing! Cheers from passers by didn't go amiss and we lapped them up through the last legs.

What a great eve, not to be missed. Running with friends was total bliss! Tasking and volunteering for Camberwell's crew, of community heroes, now lets have a brew!

See you next time fit fam
