It was Tea Time shortly after I arrived to see Mrs. M at the nursing home. The friendly staff offered me a cuppa as well. We drank our teas as she reminisced about years gone past.

It was a pleasant afternoon with light conversation. As I was saying bye, she said she would be skipping and dancing the next time I see her!

Small glimpses of her old self lifts my mood from the gloom that sometimes descends seeing her mental deterioration. Humour is such a wonderful thing. I hope Mrs. M never loses it 😊
