A Treemendous Effort

I joined Luke from the Westbury Banks Nature Reserve and Laurie from Noel Park Big Local collecting discarded Christmas Trees in the Noel Park Estate.

The plan was to help families who might struggle to get rid of their trees by collecting them and storing them in the Nature Reserve for the time being.

It was a bitterly cold day but we trolleyed over seven trees to the Reserve.

There will be another collection day and after that, all trees will be turned into Nature-friendly compost to be used by the community.
