A Swell Night With Motherwell

A different kind of evening for us to be at a task on a Friday evening but it was great to be back supporting Motherwell as they set up for their big annual event celebrating International Women's Day.

The event is taking place at Cheshire College South & West and it was fitting for a good walk before the task - 2.56 miles in total!! Luckily, the weather was kind and it stayed dry It's also nice to see the nights are slowly drawing out again.

The evening's tasks consisted of shifting tables, chairs, setting up stalls, putting up decorations and generally organising. Luckily, with a huge cohort of volunteers, the work was soon finished and the hall was looking splendid!
