What a lovely morning and afternoon for a spot of parkrun volunteering followed by a GoodGym mission! That was the thought running through my and Roz's heads when we met up at Mrs E's house.

Mrs E could no longer look after her plants, and as a result one had fallen over and a few others had weeds that needed removing. Roz and I, the keen beavers that we are, immediately got involved. The tasks didn't take long, and soon we were doing extras as well such as de-weeding the gravel. Roz even managed to clear out a very nice plant pot jam-packed with the roots of a dead plant!

At the end we spent a little bit of time taking care of plants out in the front garden, before deciding to call it a day. And what a wonderful day it was!
