Mission

A dram-attic change for the better

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

It was great as always to share a clutter busting afternoon with Jennie as we visited Mr B to clear his spare room to accommodate a live in carer.

Mr B is bed bound but was able to direct us as to where to put everything - plenty of stuff to go up into the attic, which was causing me huge problems as I kept banging my head on a wooden joist, with other stuff being earmarked for charity collection, recycling, rubbish and even a grateful neighbour.

Having moved home a number of times over the past few years, Jennie is an expert at this kind of thing and was keeping things organised whilst I was head banging!

It was a long afternoon, but it felt great to not only help Mr B, but also his new resident and grateful neighbour! We even found some old photos, allowing Mr B some time to reminisce, whilst we worked.

Lovely!
