Part 2 of this mornings mission delights. We picked up Sarah on the way and found ourselves at the mission early so took in a little jog of the surrounding area, including a rather nasty hill that we hadn't quite planned on.

Ms D welcomed us and outlined a number of tasks that needed doing in the communal garden. David had been here before and quickly took charge, applying compost to all the beds, whilst Charlene set about planting bulbs.

This left Sarah and I to run some repairs to a portable greenhouse that had fallen over and then restocking this before joining in the planting action.

Ms D has a large source of bulbs and so we all set about planting as many of these as we could together with a number of other plants around the borders which will hopefully add a large splash of colour to the garden.

Sustained by coffee and cookies kindly provided by Ms D, we worked for nearly 2 hours before heading off, with Charlene kindly offering to take an Iceland trolley back to the store which someone had unceremoniously dumped in the garden.

Nice work all on a cold morning!
