It's been way too long since I was paired up with Liz for a task so it was great today to catch up and do good things at the same time.

We were back to help a few of the regular foodbank volunteers at East End foodbank where every week seems to bring a new challenge!

The deliveries were all set to go and food parcels already prepared to go out so we had a few new jobs to tackle. Liz was tasked with an hour of unpacking an ENORMOUS delivery of Pot Noodles (fun fact: Liz has never eaten a Pot Noodle and is unlikely to after today!) which she really got stuck into. She managed to unpack and stack 600 before we ran out of time!

I had a job that required more skill than I anticipated- breaking up a crate full of cardboard boxes and re stacking them. It became like a perilous game of Jenga by the end but I got it done.
