Today saw Solihull GoodGym back together again, Rachel, Fiona, Rob and Chris arrived at the park for 9am sharp, one ran, one cycled two drove – all ready for action.

Our first community mission was a litter pick in Brueton Park, (a normally very well kept park!) however today the gods of litter shined upon us, helped by some late night ravers and some woodland creatures, they ensured there was plenty of litter strewn around for us to tackle.

There was fast food wrappers from all the usual suspects, beer cans, vodka bottles, party poppers and even some champagne flutes (posh round ‘ere you know!).

We spent about 90 mins and covered most of the park, trying to recruit many new members on route. We filled ‘3 bags full’ and were thanked by lots of park goers as we had really made a big difference.

Its great to be back with the gang, with plenty of new exciting missions planned in the next few weeks. Hopefully see everyone again on our next mission on Tuesday
