A paint job for St Edmund Campion Primary School

Help spruce up the school grounds with a few licks of paint

Description

Please note that this group run has been cancelled.

Welcome to GoodGym Windsor and Maidenhead! We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every week to get active and do a physical task to help the community organisations and projects and charities in our area.

The Task:

This week we have been invited to St Edmund Campion Catholic Primary School to paint over some old graffiti in the play ground. A head-torch is essential as we will be working outside in limited light. You might also want to avoid wearing your best gear in case you end up wearing some souvenir paint splatters.

The Run:

GoodGym is for all runners, whether you are just starting out or going for gold, and we will always have a back-marker so no-one is left behind - we're about achieving something together so you'll always be welcome no matter what your pace is.

We don't have a walk leader signed up for this week, so please contact Amy if you would like to walk to this task. We will only be able to accommodate walkers over this distance if we have a few people expressing interest as we don't want anyone to be left alone.

See you there!

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
