A bright, warm and sunny morning kicking off the bank holiday weekend - a great start for the Peckham Junior Park Run!

One hundred and thirty one junior park runners were keen to have fun and embraced this Spring morning. New comers, some with very professional look running kits who gave each others encouragement and support.

I kicked off with some warm up exercises to loose our junior’s bodies. They listened intensely and followed the exercises with enthusiasm.

Parents were there either running with the juniors or cheering them along the course.

It was such a great atmosphere with lots of smiley faces.

I also took part in number checks, giving the finishers a pat on their back and encouraging them to come back again. A lovely thing to start a Sunday morning!
