parkrun is a free community event where people walk, jog or run 5k. It takes place every Saturday and everyone is welcome. Volunteers are a vital to ensure the events run smoothly and carry out task such as setting up the event, marshalling, timekeeping, scanning, handing out finish tokens or tail walking.
To volunteer, you need to be registered with parkrun to receive your barcode and ID (number starting with A). You can find more information about volunteering at parkrun here: https://support.parkrun.com/hc/en-us/sections/200112523-volunteering
To volunteer, please email your chosen parkrun and say you would like to volunteer, including your ID number (starting with A) in the email. The team will confirm your role and arrival time.
