Today we were cutting away the dead roses for the next wave of flowering, with lots of lovely scents and colours. There was also plenty of weeding, including lots of clover - unfortunately no one found a four leafer! Lots of people in the park enjoying the sunshine or shade and the birdsong was joyous. There were watering bars put out and with no rain forecast the thirsty plants will appreciate that. We had a complimentary drinks ticket for the cafe which was lovely once we'd finished. The flowers we planted a couple of weeks ago are flowering well and the park is looking beautiful albeit a little parched!
