We had loads of new runners this week, hooray! You are very welcome and we want you to come back.

But did they believe us? We shall find out next week.

Half the group ran 2 miles each way up to Streatham Hill to spread out some wood chip in a Church yard that will become a community garden. The other half ran 3 miles each way - phew - to the most wonderful Secret Garden. Hidden behind an unassuming gate, this little piece of magic provides an outdoor space for a local school and teaches the kids about growing food. Apparently they were amazed at how much we got done last week - great stuff!

After a blustery run back across Clapham Common, we all met back at camp for some stretches and a couple of beers.
