Merton Friends of the Earth
As a Friends of the Earth local group, we strive to protect the natural world and the wellbeing of everyone in it. We collaborate with other groups in the London Borough of Merton and beyond for a clean, green neighbourhood, and we also support Friends of the Earth’s national and international campaigns. From organising tree planting events to lobbying our local councillors and MPs, we campaign and develop projects on a range of issues to help tackle the climate and ecological crisis

If you are keen to help repair and fix items, or just want to support with the event with other jobs this is the ideal opportunity to get involved. It's the launch event so will be an opportunity to meet the repairers, find out a bit more about what is planned and help with jobs such as manning the desk (although there may not be lots to do, until we find our feet ie for future sessions). The event will take place monthly on the 4th Saturday so if you are likely to be able to attend regularly and help out do get in touch even if you can't make this session.
