🌞 Why It Matters

Gale Street Orgaic Community Garden has been run by Breda - a local older residnet - for over 20 years. Since the pandemic - the garden has been left to go wild. Help from GoodGym B&D is crucial to get the garden back to it's best adn ready to welcome more local reaidents to enjoy time in this magica green space.

👋 Who You’ll Meet

  • Breda - warm, welcoming and with a wicked sense of humour, Breda is the star attraction at Gale Street (other than the garden itself of course). They have been running the garden for the benefit of the community for over 20 years (and they're a qualified soil scientist too!)

  • Nassaba - a very special soul, Nassaba runs Elevate Together C.I.C and is involved across B&D in a number of food growing projects. Chat with them to find out more about current projects and how you could get involved further

Come along for a relaxed and friendly evening of volunteering – no experience needed, just bring your energy and community spirit!

Facing the Co-op, walk down the alleyway directly to the right of the shop. Arrive at the gate with a green sign that says “Ebaha Allotment Site”. Turn left and walk along the alleyway that runs along the back of the shops. After a few yards, look on the right hand side for another gate with a small red sign on the right hand gate that says “No Parking, Access Required, Thank You”
