Sorting out donations for Bernados!
Supporting a local charity shop
What is a Community Mission
- A community mission is something that takes place outside of our Tuesday evening group run & can last for up to three hours
- You make your own way there & we meet at the task. If you can make your way by power of your feet, extra bonus points!
- For this particular mission, we'll meet at the Bernados charity shop; 62 Babington Ln, Derby DE1 1SX
Bernados on Babington Lane gets lots & LOTS of donations every weekend, which is great. The problem is that their volunteers have a lot of sorting to do, as well as serving customers, keeping the shop floor tidy, pricing up objects... the list goes on!
We're going to don our red tees & go & give them a helping hand! We'll be sorting out bags of donations (can't wait to see what treasures there are!) & support with any other tasks that will help to improve the charity shop ready for the festive period.
There are limited spaces available for this community mission, so get booked on fast to be involved :)
The Future of Missions
There is much good to be done in Derby! If you have any ideas / contacts for community missions, let me know.

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
