Only the most hardcore GG Yorkies turned up in the hammering rain to pull up long strings of nettle roots from the borders at St Oswald's Church: me and Leanne.

We cleared a patch between two trees, filling up tonne sacks with the stringy roots and getting extremely dirty in the process, but not so dirty that we couldn't scoff the homemade choc-chip shortbread once we we done!
