GoodGymmers In the Mist

It was an eerie, misty morning in the City today that six GoodGymmers came down to volunteer at the adidas City Run 1 Hour race. The race is a 1 mile loop around the City that competitors need to cover as many times as they can in 1 Hour.

After a breakfast of pastries both sweet and savoury, our volunteers were deployed to their roles on the baggage check lorries. With the race organised in waves, it proved a bit more calm than our previous City Runs outings at Shoreditch and Fulham. Being stood high-up in the side of a lorry conferred a distinct air of authority to our volunteers 👑

For their trouble this morning, our volunteers get to run another City Runs race for free, so that could be the next City Run 1 Hour in a year, Shoreditch 10K in July or Fulham 10K in November…
