We got the great news last week that parkrun has a planned return date of June 5th- triple yay! We can't wait to get back to running, walking and volunteering.

The next few weeks of training sessions will start your build up back to running a confident and firey 5k when the time comes!

You can do this session as many times as you like before Sunday, just sign up and share your run with us on the Facebook page or via WhatsApp.

WARM UP: very easy jogging for ten mins, then pause and stretch!

INTERVALS: run ten reps of one minute hard effort, jogging a slow 30 seconds after each one to recover. Hang on- it will feel tough by the end!

COOL DOWN: Take a breather then run another very slow ten minutes or one mile

Wearing your GoodGym tshirt will give you interval session super powers so don't forget to share your photos.

What to look out for

Covid Test and Trace

To keep everyone safe GoodGym has signed up to the NHS test and trace service. We will pass on your contact details only if they ask for it.

The GoodGym central team will also be in contact if we are made aware that anyone attending this session tests positive in the days afterwards.

Age Restriction

GoodGym welcomes anyone aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 then you will be unable to participate in any GoodGym activity
