On the first of many light evenings to come, with a 'Spring' in our steps, Goodgym Southwark paper-chased our way around Peckham, smashed out some fitness fun and sprinkled a whole lotta Good(Gym) Vibes along the way too! Pow Pow!

A warm evening and cool breeze greeted the brave and the few (7 to be exact), for a beautiful evening out in Peckham. Repping for Goodgym and seeing out the last week of March, we welcomed in the spring with open arms and all of our Goodgym charm. Yay.

Joining me at base camp Old Spike, was an even split of girl power X 3 with Sarah, Becky and Liane and matching the maidens was a Brilliant Brigade of Boys including - Matt, Coops and Dave. So with the warm welcomes we saw through housekeeping with lots of chat about hay fever fever, power posing, coffee highs, nutrition and macros. Wow we do get through a lot in 15mins!! After the diet debate and foodie facts, it was off to the street we did goooo and a cruisey jog took us down to Dulwich Community Hospital where we collected our leaflets for Link-Age's befriending campaign. We even had enough time to magic up some awesome photo action, with the Hogwarts lookalike setting as backdrop.

After the collect it was down to business but not before we had a coo over 2 beautiful doggies on the street, fresh from haircut and doggy pamper parlour. These 2 fancy lads had the crew in pieces and barking mad for their cuteness almost to the point of forgetting our task at hand - oh yesssssss the leaflets!! So with Tails wagging (that was us by the way not the dogs) and no one flagging it was go go gooooooo and the paper-chase began.

Running and posting. Dropping and popping our stashes through letter boxes and doors all around East Dulwich and Peckham.... or should I say 'Upper Dulwich' we areeeee posh round eeeaarrr don't cha know and not at all Dull-ich!!

It was a strong half hour and mammoth effort that had the team hands free and successfully delivering alllll leaflets including some of our very own a dose of GG promo too in 30mins flat. YAY. So after our successful delivery session, we were left with loads of time to get fit and catch up with some pucka plyometrics and crazy conditioning on the Rye.... that's the park not the bread, just in case you were confused. Not 'kneading' any encouragement the team cracked on with a tri-set medley of:

  • Elevated press ups

  • Elevated knee tucks

  • Elevated tuck jumps

  • Step ups

  • Squat jumps

Blimey, you'd think they would have been tired by now but ooohhhhh no, not these crazy kids, so it was onto the next game.... and a continuation of our leg strengthening theme. But to add some giggles, it was back to the old school with piggy-back races for everyone YAY!!!! All of a sudden, the competition was fierce but with our resident couple - Coops and Liane showing us what team work was all about, they smashed the finish line to take the win xxxxx

With only minutes to go, we finished our last session of March, with just two more fit-fun tasks, which got us down the home straight; walking lunges home and then some Ab-tastiic core work to finish on deck back at base.

Oh what a night, to take flight, and do what's good and right, in Peckham for the night!!

See you in April!

DO GOOD. FEEL GOOD. INSPIRE.
