Help with environemal activities. This might vary from time to time. An initial task is to regularly water new plants at Stoke Newington sown at overground station and Rectory Rd station.

Mulching season continues! And our friends in the Stoke Newington Users Group (SNUG) need help shifting barrows of mulch around Stoke Newington Common to mulch the young trees and shrubs. The mulch suppresses weeds and helps retain moisture, giving the young plants a better chance of survival.

SNUG will be on site from 10.00am (perfect if you're coming from ParkRun!). Feel free to drop in for as long as you can.

Meeting point: The mulch pile, opposite the No 73 Bus Stand. Near the junction of Stoke Newington Common and Rectory Road / the A10. What3Words: ///aims.thing.march

Look out for people with wheelbarrow and spades!

Notes Tools will be provided. Please wear comfortable shoes and weatherproof clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring gardening gloves if you can, but we will have a few spare pairs.

How are you getting there?
