Stoke Newington Common Users GroupStoke Newington User Group (SNUG) have called on the help of GoodGym again to mulch the trees and hedges on Stoke Newington Common. The mulch helps retain moisture and suppress weeds around young trees, giving them an greater chance of survival.
This task follows on from previous sessions when we have bagged up the mulch at Springfield Park ready for transportation to Stoke Newington Common, and planted the young trees and hedges.
MEETING POINT UPDATE
We will meet at the mulch pile!
The pile of mulch is on the Common, near the junction between Rectory Road (A10) and Stoke Newington Common Road. There is a bus stance / bus stop on Rectory Road.
