More path maintenance in the beautiful bluebell woods
Protect delicate wildflowers by giving people a safe place to walk in the Little Thriftwood

Little Thriftwood near Ockwells Park is carpeted with stunning bluebells at this time of year, but sadly the visitors they attract can cause damage. The countryside management team are tackling this problem by providing a good path for visitors and encouraging them to stick to it. Our job is to help improve the path by spreading lots of woodchip using wheelbarrows and rakes.
We will meet in the Ockwells Park car park and walk together to the Little Thriftwood, work for an hour or so, and then head back to the car park.
Don't forget your gardening gloves!
