York PrideYork Pride parade and festival is one of the highlights of the year for the city. It’s a huge event and they really need some marshalls to walk alongside.
Marshalls need to meet at St Sampson’s square at 10.10 to collect high viz then there is a briefing 10.30. We will then be allocated a section to of the parade to march beside so we can stay together. Parade starts at 12 from York Minster.
It would be amazing to be there to represent gg York. Once the parade arrives at the Knavesmire there are lots of stalls, music, rides etc - it’s a great atmosphere!
If you’d like to come please sign up by Wednesday 4th June so we can let them know our numbers. We will meet outside Roman bath on the square, then go and register together.
I’ll bring the glitter!
