Aspire was formed in 2014 by husband and wife team, Tony & Donna King with the sole aim to get everyone, young and old out into the great outdoors – Therefore getting healthier and fitter as a family in some of the South West’s most scenic places and venue’s. Our races are open to all abilities and we will NEVER set time limits, that is simply against all we believe in here. However, we do occasionally throw into the race calendar races for the more experienced (We do like to cater for everyone at Aspire after all!) Our events have varying distances on offer and every finisher receives a medal, yes even our very own free 5 and unders 50m dash! From September, 2017 we will be introducing new bespoke medals for every event. (We all like our bling after all!) Aspires ethos is as follows: Everyone loves a challenge and we simply want all our lovely runners to enjoy themselves, enjoy the varied routes on offer and keep smiling (You never know where the race photographer will be after all!) But more importantly just believe in yourself and just remember at the finish line there will be our usual and now famous finishers table… Yes , that means cakes and treats!

We really, really need Goodgymer's help to be course marshals for Bath Epic Trail 10k.

Sadly, we haven’t got the army cadets for this inaugural event so we really do need to secure course marshals to join Team Aspire for this one.

This is a stunningly scenic course and therefore you are in for a treat and will be surrounded by some stunning views wherever you are positioned along the route.

Without the help of wonderful people like you, who give up their valuable time, our events simply would not be safe to go ahead.

In due course we will send all the finer details with a confirmed meeting point, which will be approximately the half way point. We will have two head marshals who will split and go in both directions back to Walcot Rugby Club (the start and finish of the race)

The meet up time will be approximately 08:30 (race starts at 10am) and the head marshals will take you to your marshalling position. You are welcome to leave your position as soon as the tail runners pass you.

Just think this marshal stint could cover your entry for either the Aspire Races; 2022 Bristol 3 Peaks or Bristol Epic 8 hour entry!

 The Rugby Club will also be open post-race drinks (alcoholic and hot and cold) plus everyone’s favourite Bacon butties and breakfast rolls. Also, being served will be the locally well-known Walcot Whopper burger. (We can highly recommend this one)"

Lots of goodgymers have marshalled for Aspire Races before and enjoyed it and I can definitely recommend it.

Thanks for volunteering to marshal at Bath Epic Trail 10k. I'm sorry to say unfortunately Aspire Races have sadly had to cancel the race due to low entries.
