14 FANTASTIC @GGSHEFF RUNNERS RAN 7KM AND HELPED FRIENDS OF SHEAF VALLEY PARK MAKE THEIR HOOD LOOK GOOD HELPING TO MAKE SHEFFIELD STAINLESS ONCE MORE!

LET THERE BE LIGHT!

After welcoming 3 NEW @GGSHEFF runners from London BIG BASH BOMBASTIC BETH and MARVELOUS MADDIE we set of in the basking glow of the Sheffield Sun to the task!

With Spring giving us an extra hour of daylight we could keep our head torches in our pockets this week as we headed up hill to meet LOVELY LINDA form FOSVP to get tooled up before heading into a much littered and unloved pathway on Fitzwalter Road.

Among other items we found bathroom tiles, a box of cod fillets, a mattress and one shoe 👞!

The red t-shirt army did a fantastic job and we collected a barrage of bags for the council to come and collect the next day, top work team!

After the task we headed down hill to the Sheffield icon that is PARK HILL to use some of the features of their communal space to exercise on. The order of the evening included:

*Static Sprints

*Press Up's

*Squat Jump's

*Step Up's

*Hill Sprints

Finally before heading back we took advantage of the STEEL CITY STEPS to do some STAIR SETS up the huge 160 step set to a fantastic view of Sheffield!
