Feeling the sense.. of achievement!

Tonight 7 Goodgymers set out to Sprowston Community Hub to help in the Sensory Garden.

We welcomed Claire for the first time, so a big shout out from all the Goodgym community to Claire!

After meeting Mike who showed us what needed doing and our tools for the evening we set off to clear as many weeds as possible as in 1-hour.. no mean feat when lots of the plants also looked like weeds!

A small but perfectly formed team it was great to meet up and chat over some weeding, the perfect activity for it and very cathartic pulling up roots and ‘tidying’.. I’m sure Marie Kondo (if you’re into that kind of thing!) would have been proud of our decluttering!

Well done team! We made a great dent in those weeds.. and maybe there’s chance to go back again – we need strong people to dig out those brambles!
