Treemendous York Partnership
Volunteers working with stakeholders advising and supporting tree planting and maintenance in the York area.

Trees need care and maintenance to help them thrive and grow - especially with all the rabbits and hares at this location who enjoy nibbling the bark. When a ring of bark is removed from the trunk, the tree dies as its water/nutrient flow is cut off.

The saplings need checking. They may need replacement guards, stakes/canes hammered in straight or weeding around the bases.

Treemendous have asked for support any time from 10-12 am on the 2nd Saturday of the month from April to September. You are welcome to pop along for any time you can spare - and 10 am fits in nicely with going to Heslington Parkrun!

Bring gloves and footwear that can get muddy!

I will post the exact What3words location closer to the time.
