Today, a group of runners from different areas - Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, and Camden - went along to the Crisis warehouse in Bermondsey. Some of us had been here back in November where we were sorting and cleaning ready for things to come and go for the Crisis at Christmas centres. Runners had come from different missions, starter sessions and parkruns; big shout out to Frances who came to the starter session in Surrey Docks Farm, smashed through the community mission training on the way over, and will be at 3 good deeds in her first four days of GoodGym!

On this occasion we'd been asked to prep things for loading into a truck - 2 people from Crisis were doing a valiant job of going through donations and supplies and seeing what needed to go to their charity shops, what needed to be recycled, and then it was time for GoodGym to help. We sorted and bagged up dozens of bags, and got them piled ready for collection, as well as sorting out different bits like clothing, bedding and shoes.

Within an hour and a half we'd bagged all that needed bagging, and hopefully been a big help to the team at Crisis by speeding that process along.
