Parkview Care HomeWe're visiting Parkview Care Home once a month to help with practical tasks that need doing.
In past sessions we've rubbed down garden benches ready for the residents to paint, spruced up the courtyard so it's ready for people to sit outside in the warmer weather, and done some gardening to keep the flowerbeds looking nice.
We never quite know what we'll be doing until we arrive, but that's part of the fun! It's a good idea to bring gardening gloves if you have them ๐งค.
๐When and where
The task is at 7pm at Parkview Care Home, 105 Woolwich Road, Bexleyheath DA7 4LP. Please leave a comment below if you are making your own way there.
If you'd like to join the group run/walk to get there, meet outside Crook Log Sports Centre, Brampton Road, Bexleyheath DA7 4HH at 6.40pm for a short warm-up. Then it's 1 km to the care home.
On our group runs we stick together and no-one is left behind, so it's ideal if you are new to running. We'll run back together afterwards or you can make your own way home if you prefer.
